The food, beverages and scenic venue will be worth the trip. Seeing how Ballast Point makes their delicious brews is another reason. But the main event is a panel discussion on project and productivity tools. Collect 2 PDUs for this fun event! One PDU for attending a tour of the brewery facility while you learn how the brewery came to the Roanoke Valley and how it operates today. Earn a second PDU as we conduct an interactive, expert panel – to discuss the use of various project management tools. We will have experts from Carilion, Robertson Marketing, Advance, and local PM and consulting experts. Tools planned for discussion include: Atlassian’s Suite of projects to include Trello, Jira and Confluence Libra – a free suite of projects for project management Wrike – learn how Robertson Marketing uses Wrike Slack – another project management tool Other tools and topics and a Q&A time Dinner: Street Taco Bar; chicken & beef served with rice, beans, shredded cabbage, house salsa, sour cream, cheese, & tortillas. Coke products, sweetened iced tea, pink lemonade & ice water. And of course beer is available to purchase. Speaker bios: Emily Cohen, PMP and PMI-ACP, Strategic Projects Manager at PowerSchool Emily Cohen is a Strategic Projects Manager at PowerSchool. She is an avid user of Smartsheet, Trello, Microsoft Teams, and other collaborative project software. She loves to identify the right tool for each project and audience and is comfortable working in a variety of mediums to meet the needs of the project team. In her downtime, she enjoys running on the Roanoke Greenways and partaking in the local craft beer scene. Kelleigh Moyer, PMP, Director - Project Management Office Kelleigh Moyer brings over 25 years of experience in sales, marketing and managing web and marketing related IT projects. Prior to joining the Robertson Marketing team, Kelleigh worked as the General Manager of Media General, Inc.’s Interactive Division. Managing the online operations for various newspapers and a television station, she oversaw all aspects of digital media, content development and web design. Kelleigh currently is the director of Robertson’s PMO, managing the company’s portfolio of projects. In addition, Kelleigh is the lead project manager for key projects whereby she manages the projects through all phases: initiating; planning; executing; and closing. Kelleigh Moyer holds a BA from Virginia Tech and an MBA from Averett University. She has held her Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification since July 2014.
