Terresa F. Odum is the director of the Cardiovascular Institute’s revenue operations department at Carilion Clinic in Roanoke, Virginia. Terresa started her career as a medical coder, earning her CCS and CPC certifications. She went on to earn her BS in Business from Bluefield College and subsequently, herMBA from Liberty University with a focus in Healthcare Management.

Terresa is an experienced project manager, earning her PMP in March of 2021. In her role at Carilion Clinic, Terresa has led multi-departmental projects to streamline CVI’s revenue capture processes and reduce payer denials. The changes put in place in CVI because of these projects have resulted in CVI’s revenue capture operations being recognized as “best practice” at Carilion Clinic.
Terresa is married with three adult sons. In her free time, Terresa enjoys hiking, paddleboarding, traveling with her husband, going on trips with friends, and most recently, learning to ride her mountain bike.
