As a project management approach, waterfall methodology – with its emphasis on a linear progression through the 10 knowledge areas and the 5 program management stages – can yield many benefits regarding controlling risks and resources as well as managing stakeholders and communication. But in a small organization the architecture needed for proper implementation of waterfall can be as onerous as it is rigorous. In this presentation, Betty Jean will share the approaches she has used to tailor waterfall to customize the project planning process used to produce transformative change in a nonprofit setting.

Speaker: Betty Jean Wolfe (MBA, MFA, PMP), Habitat for Humanity, Senior Director of Community Engagement
