Agile is the latest trend in project management. Its speed to market and flexibility combined with its focus on business value and the users make adoption an interest to many companies.

Agile is a change in mindset and that can offer many benefits. This presentation will provide an overview of Agile and the values and concepts behind it. It will focus on the most popular Agile methodology, Scrum.

Learn about the three major components of Scrum; Scrum roles, Scrum events and Scrum artifacts and how each of these are important to its success and how you can apply them to your next project. Be prepared to become one with Scrum.

Speaker Bio: Paige Kanode is currently an IT project manager for Advance Auto Parts. Paige has worked for Advance Auto Parts for 12 years and as most project managers do, fell into the role. She started in web development, moved to a business analyst and began leading projects 3 years ago. She led the Point of Sale (POS) project for several years and recently moved to the Enterprise Catalog team. She has been practicing some form of Agile for 7 years and recently received her Scrum Master Certification.
