The Board met on July 23rd in it's quest to bring the second half of the year's great events to you!  Here are the highlights:

1. We are updating our sponsorship package to bring to local businesses a year long sponsorship opportunity.  Expect to see marketing this fall.
2. VP of Finance is updating their playbook to help transition their roles and responsibilities to the next volunteer (speaking of, we are looking for one to step up next year).
3. Brainstorming of ways to bring the virtual meeting to life for a fall event.
4. Finalized the location for the family event on September 21st (mark your calendars!).  This will be an exciting and fun (and free!) event that we are putting on to celebrate our members.  We are looking for volunteers to help with food / activities so please reach out to presidentelect@pmi-swva.org if you are interested.
