We are proud to present to you the following Candidates that will appear on the Ballot for our 2018 PMI-SWVA Board positions!


Candidate: Paige Kanode

Board Position: President-Elect (3-years)

Candidacy Information:

paigePaige joined PMI in 2012 and has been a member of our local Chapter since September 2012.  She joined the PMI SWVA board in 2013 and served as a director at large until 2014. In 2015 and 2016 she was elected the VP of Professional development and continued serving in the director at large role through 2017. She is a results oriented project manager and technology leader with expertise in software development, services and infrastructure technology. She is a skilled Agile project manager with experience in teaching, implementing and executing Scrum in a waterfall business environment. She has hands on experience in project management, requirements gathering and documentation, technology implementation and analysis and process improvement. She has a reputation of consistently delivering projects within scope and acknowledgment for creative leadership and “getting the job done”.

Paige is currently a project manager at Carilion Clinic and is PMI-ACP and ScrumMaster certified. 

Paige’s professionalism and work ethic is described as detail oriented, a team player, motivator, mentor and a pleasure to work with!


Candidate: Ragan Farris

Board Position: VP Finance (2-years)

Candidacy Information:

raganRagan joined PMI in 2007 and has been a member of our local Chapter. Current VP of Treasury -Finance.  She has over 23 years of direct Project Management experience driving large-scale, complex projects and programs to an on schedule and within budget completion. Collaborate cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders, vendors and decision-makers, effectively coordinating the complete project lifecycle from planning through implementation.

Ragan works as Project Manager with Carilion Clinic Technology Services Group. She earned her Bachelors of Nursing degree at Jefferson College of Health Sciences. She holds PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM and is Board Certified in Nursing Informatics

Ragan is dedicated to project management as a profession especially as it relates to Healthcare IT.
