August Board Meeting Notes
General
Hello PMI-SWVA Chapter Members,
The board met on August 27th and discussed the following items:
* Next Chapter Meeting - Sept 10th, 6:00pm, Advance Auto
* Family Day - Sept 21st, Volunteers are secured, but more can be used
* Symposium - Oct 18th, Still accepting sponsors
* Bylaws are under review by PMI headquarters. Will be posted for Chapter review in Sept after PMI approval
* Virtual Chapter Meeting - Process proposal due for review at Sept BOD meeting
* 2020 Sponsorship Program proposal to be posted for BOD vote

The focus this month was on events and symposium needs. There is a lot of work going on with those teams to bring these great events to life! If you are interested in being on the board, reach out to our chapter president via the contact us button and we will gladly discuss further.
