As 2016 comes to a close, thank you to all those that attended chapter meetings, came to the symposium and volunteered your time! As a special recognition, the chapter voted on four special volunteers to recognize at this year's December chapter meeting. They are as follows:
PMI-SWVA Special Recognition Award: Kristen Gorman
For her help with the last two annual symposiums, social media support, and stepping into the VP of Professional Development role for next year.
David J. Williamson Award: Paige Kanode
For sustained contriubtion to the chapter year after year
Volunteer of the Year Award: LeAta Jackson
For her extraordinary work on the Symposium. LeAta helped with sponsorship and led the networking activities for the last two years.
Service to the Chapter Award: Ragan Farris
For her work on vastly improving and simplifying the banking and financial management function of the chapter.
